Diversity training has traditionally been based in models driven by guilt and blame. We believe that if the goal is to become a more whole society, such trainings are highly ineffective. We need to move beyond the vicious cycles that are embedded in these old “Diversity 101” models. We can, in fact, abolish systematic discrimination within and without. It requires recognizing, taking responsibility, shifting mindsets while continually building and utilizing effective skills. Beyond Diversity 101 is for all who choose to transform systems of separation and power-over. It is for those who want to work toward wholeness — within and without.

A Friends Council on Education Affiliate Member Organization
幸运飞艇计划qq群网 The mission of Bolivian Quaker Education Fund is to strengthen ties between Bolivian Quakers and those of North America and Europe through programs that improve the education of Bolivian Quakers and of Quaker schools in Bolivia and neighboring countries. The organization grew out of visits to Bolivia organized by Quaker Study Tours beginning in 1995, and out of a visit to US Quakers in 2001 by two young Bolivian Quaker teachers, Loida Cutipa and Cecilia Paco.

This program was established in 1972 by the New York Quaker Project on Community Conflict and is now incorporated as Creative Response to Conflict. As a result of years of nonviolence training, the staff realized that the seeds of violence are often planted in children at an early age. They began adapting, for young children's skills, the methods used with adults, starting with weekly workshops in New York City public schools. Now, tens of thousands of CCRC workshops have been conducted in the New York area, North America, Europe, Asia, Central and South America.
